EPMD has a fantastic band Connie Price and the Keystones backing them up. We are Part of the Ohio Television Network. Are there any EPMD or Connie Price fans out there??? Epmd rocked the house at Skully’s. Let me first say that EPMD is a very big favorite of mine. So What Cha Sayin? I am saying that although EPMD has not been a top ten act in a number of years they are one of a bunch of classic Hip Hop artists that are finding new life touring the club circuit. We are seeing this all over Ohio as the club scene is turning out some of the hottest acts of the year. Skully’s is a good location for this kind of an event. The stage is adequate for the kind of event that they are promoting. The fan area accommodates just enough fans to make the place look overcrowded. Back to EPMD. They played all of my favorites and as I looked around the audience I could tell from the head bobbing that many in the audience agreed. Their set last what I think was over an hour which was perfect. The duo looked in great shape and could pump out the tunes and were verfy gracious to the fans after the show. They where very approachable after the show and met with fans on the patio which in my book is a must to give something back to the fanbase. if you get a chance to catch these guys in concert, don’t pass it up.
